Meet Sampled’s Chief Scientific Officer Shareef Nahas, PhD at the AGBT Precision Health Meeting 2025 for genomics professionals. The AGBT annual meeting, to be held in San Diego, brings together genomic researchers, healthcare professionals, and healthcare industry stakeholders to usher in a new era of precision medicine.

An American Board Certified Clinical Molecular Geneticist and a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, his training includes a Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the University of California Irvine, a Master’s, Ph.D. and Clinical training in Genetics, Pathology and Molecular Toxicology from the University of California, Los Angeles. His professional and academic achievements include laboratory director positions at prominent academic and private institutions. In his director roles, he worked to implement advanced lifesaving diagnostic technologies. He has authored or co-authored greater than 40 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
