Most recently, she served as Vice President, Senior Counsel of Corporate Transactions at Celgene Corporation, where she was lead counsel on key strategic transactions, including Celgene’s acquisition of Juno Therapeutics and merger with Bristol-Myers Squibb. Prior to joining Celgene, Mary served on both the business development and legal teams at Merck & Co., Inc. as Executive Director, Business Development and Director, Corporate Transactions.

Shareef Nahas

Chief Scientific Officer

Shareef was previously with Rady Children’s Institute Genomic Medicine in San Diego, CA where he served as Senior Director of Operations. Before that, he held a number of senior laboratory roles at Genoptix (Novartis), and Ambry Genetics. Shareef received his Ph.D. in Molecular Toxicology from UCLA and his Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellowship from the UCLA Intercampus Laboratory Genetics, Genomics, and Medical Training Program in 2011. He has authored or co-authored greater than 40 peer-reviewed scientific publications.

In her role, she provided HR expertise to the Chief Medical Officer, the President of Global Clinical Development and the Chief Information Officer and their organizations. Prior to Celgene, Isabella held various HR roles at Merck and Schering-Plough providing HR expertise to multiple organizations including Global Marketing, Global Market Access, and Global Information Technology.

Stephen Wang

Chief Information Officer

Steve was the Head of Global IT for Cambrex where he focused on IT Transformation and Digitization to ensure the company’s information assets and operations are secure, stable and accessible. 

Throughout his experiences in global pharmaceuticals, technology and communications companies, Steve focused on strategically delivering IT capabilities to enable companies to achieve their business goals. Prior to Cambrex, Steve held various leadership positions with Merck Company, Bristol-Myer Squibb, HP and AT&T.   He holds a Bachelor in Computer Science from New York University, and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from NJIT.
