Olink Proteomics key benefits:

Olink technology enables end-to-end protein biomarker discovery including broad proteomic screening, targeted discovery and validation. The Olink proteomics technology measures more than 5,400 protein biomarkers per sample using Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) on the Olink® Explore platform, in a highly sensitive and reproducible multiplexed process.

Olink technology enables unparalleled throughput and specificity (Figure 1). Its consistent and reliable results have made it widely recognized and extensively cited in various research fields for protein profiling and biomarker development.

Olink Reveal

Olink Reveal is perfect for a broad screening of proteins, especially for inflammation and immune response, making it ideal for biomarker profiling, longitudinal studies, and multi-omics research. It can be applied to the study a wide range of diseases, including oncology, infectious diseases, and chronic conditions. 

Protein coverage: Focused on ~1,000 highly detectable human proteins, with a concentration on inflammation and immune pathways.

Application: Targeted biomarker profiling of the immune system and inflammatory processes, crucial for understanding autoimmune diseases and immune responses to pathogens or therapies.

Cost: An affordable option for screening large numbers of samples and proteins, beneficial for large cohort studies. 

Olink Explore HT

Olink Explore HT is a comprehensive, high-throughput platform for discovering thousands of proteins, used for large-scale studies, advanced disease research, and drug development across various fields like oncology, neurology, and immunology.

Protein coverage: Broad, measuring more than 5,400 proteins, covering 84% of major biological pathways including exploratory biomarkers, tissue-specific proteins and drug targets.

Application: High-throughput proteome discovery and biomarker development for a wide range or research areas, including neurological, metabolic, cardiovascular, and inflammatory diseases,

Cost: Higher cost due to broad scope
