Bioprocessing

We provide a full suite of bioprocessing functions, which include automated sample aliquoting, automated blood fractionation, normalized biomaterial aliquoting and distribution, and tissue preparation.

Many of the common errors found to compromise the integrity of the biospecimens are mitigated. This is because Sampled  deploys many state-of-the-art tools.

• Each operation is computerized to minimize sample mislabeling and/or cross-contamination. Additionally, the biosamples and biosample containers bear a linear or 2D barcode to ensure sample identity.
• The Sampled internal SOPs ensure strict compliance and protocols, such as all new kits and reagents, and protocols are validated before routine use. All lymphoblastoid cell lines (LCLs) are tested in-house and shown to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, and fungal contamination. All cryopreserved LCLs are viability tested.
• Sampled also provides full genomic preparation and processing services. Our offerings include pre-validated and custom assay panels for genotyping and gene expression analysis of both human and rodent samples. We utilize traditional qPCR-based detection as well as high-throughput microfluidic chips and microarrays accomplished with automated processing technology.
• Stool and semen. Sampled also offers processing, cryopreservation and distribution of stool samples. The number of aliquots and mass per aliquot for each sample can be customized to suit most requirements. Similarly, we also offer semen sample counting services and will soon be expanding this offering to include the ability to measure motility and morphology of samples.
