Transforming lymphocyte cell lines
Sampled is an industry leader in transformation of lymphocytes with a transformation rate above 98%. Over the course of the last two decades, we have transformed approximately 500,00 cell lines, in turn creating approximately 2.5 million aliquots of cells. Moreover, many of the cell lines that we transformed over twenty years ago are still viable and in use today. Along with transformation, we also provide cryopreservation and distribution services for clients who wish to send samples domestically or internationally.
We offer a plethora of custom aliquot options to clients with large or small demands to isolate PBMCs based on:
- Concentration of white blood cells per ml
- Volume required per aliquot
- Number of aliquots required
- Further bioprocessing/isolation of constituent components
Our labs create up to 4000 aliquots a month for clients with high demands and average 1200 subjects per month, comprised of multiple vacutainers. We possess workflows for a variety of vacutainer types including EDTA, heparin, ACD and many more. Additionally, Sampled offers cryopreservation and distribution options too.
Plasma and serum isolation
Custom aliquots whereby volume per sample and number of samples can be tailored upon request. Additionally, we can cryopreserve and distribute aliquots if necessary.
Cell line expansion
We are able to expand almost any cell line including cancer cells, immortalised cells and primary cells. Additionally, we can cryopreserve and distribute aliquots if necessary.
For all cell aliquot cryopreservation services, the freezing process is conducted by a controlled rate freezer to ensure highest viability of cells upon thawing. The control the rate of freezing (i.e. the rate at which the sample cools) can be customized upon request
